The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the bio-ingredients space, in particular fermentation nutrients which include both yeast and plant-based extracts and peptones. With travel to customers required, we ask that you be based remotely within proximity to a metropolitan area/airport.

The typical hiring range for this role is 140k -170k annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).

Role Responsibilities
- Manage our current portfolio, with focus on driving the profitable growth of Kerry’s technologies including Yeast Extracts and Plant Peptones, building, and converting opportunity pipeline for the Bioprocessing Market, with a strong emphasis on building customer relationships across Probiotics, Starter Cultures, Enzymes and Agri-Tech markets.
- Shape and drive regional strategy for the Bio-P rocessing Market in North America.
- Expand our reach within the target markets and looks for new product/technology opportunities outside of our current offering.
- Create the “market pull” factor for innovation in Bio - processing market, collaborating with relevant cross-functional team to ensure that products align with market needs.
- Collaborate across the organization, engaging with commercial and technical teams to foster new expansion opportunities.
- Build competitive intelligence on customer market trends and dynamics as well as competitor dynamics.
- In partnership with Product Managers , RD&A and marketing, develop technology propositions that highlight differentiation and win market share.
- B.S in Science or other related fields
- 7-10 years’ experience in Bioprocessing (Fermentation) and/or Agri-Tech Market (e.g. biocontrol, bio-stimulants)
- Expert knowledge of the Industrial Bioprocessing (Probiotics, Starter Cultures, Enzyme Fermentation) and/or Agri-Tech market, including working knowledge of the different technologies Yeast Extracts and/or Plant Peptones
- Business experience desirable with strong commercial understanding, combined with ability to drive profitable growth.
- Strong understanding of industry trends, new technology shaping the industry and market requirements to help drive strategy development.
- Self-starter with entrepreneurial skills and effective communication skills
