Job Description
The Quality System Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the quality management system is understood, implemented, and maintained. This includes collaborating with the QA team to investigate product nonconformances and customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate and Resolve Issues: Collaborate with the QA team to investigate product nonconformances and customer complaints.
- Training and Coordination: Develop, train, and coordinate schedules for QA technicians.
- Certification Support: Plan and support activities related to FSSC and SQF Certification.
- Quality Management: Work closely with all staff to ensure the quality management system is understood, implemented, and maintained.
- Document Control: Manage the facility's documented control program and support internal and external audit programs.
- Audit Assistance: Assist with internal, external, and customer audit preparation, findings, and investigations.
- Facility Inspections: Facilitate facility inspections related to food safety and quality.
- Program Review: Review and update site quality and quality systems programs. Escalate issues and concerns regarding food safety and quality programs.
- Reporting: Provide daily/weekly task reports to the Quality Supervisor.
- Support and Compliance: Support product non-conformance investigations, customer complaint resolutions, and other operational issues.
- Intelex Support: Enhance site Intelex effectiveness and usage.
- Documentation: Update plant-specific work instructions, policies, and procedures related to food safety and quality.
Compensation and Benefits
