Key responsibilities
Material handling of finished goods and raw materials using forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Be able to stack 4 high when needed.
Manage inventory to ensure production is using it in FIFO / FEFO rotation.
Interface with truck drivers.
Perform housekeeping in own work area and assists with detailed cleaning activities in other areas of plant on a regular basis.
This can occasionally mean entire shifts of cleaning duties.
Qualifications and skills
High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
1-3 years of shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
Ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
Ability to work in fast paced environment and must also adapt to frequent changes.
Must pass necessary tests to earn forklift certification.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
