Compensation Data
The typical hiring range for this role is $24.00 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. Shift: 2st shift 4pm-12am Monday through Friday. $1.50 Shift dfferential
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform sensory, physical, chemical, and / or instrumental evaluation of raw material, in process, or finished products following SOP and specifications.
- Expedite evaluation process and final disposition and provide information to production.
- Develop and maintain raw material and finished product specifications.
- Trouble shoots quality problems in production.
- Participate in the development of special processes to improve quality.
- Generate data for Certificates of analysis.
- Participate in test panels.
- Maintain laboratory data, files, supplies, and calibrate equipment on a regular schedule as well as maintaining GMP's.
- Work on the corrective actions of any customer complaints / issues.
- Follows all quality, safety, and company protocols & procedures.
- Sample pulls 40lbs or less.
What You'll Need To Be Successful
- Knowledge and experience in a lab setting running chemistry tests
- Food industry experience is highly desirable.
- Minimum 0-2 years of experience
- High School Diploma/GED Required
