The typical hiring range for this role is $28 to $35 per hour, based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
What You'll Do:
We have an immediate opening for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician, with on-call weekends every 8-10 weeks. You'll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders, and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You'll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping, and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery
- Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic, steam, pneumatic equipment; repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment
- Diagnose and maintain electrical systems
- Building maintenance, including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep
What You'll Need to be Successful and Safe:
- Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all the following: Piping systems, Electricity, PLC's (Programmable logic controllers), Process equipment, and Personal Computing
- 2 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience with focus in a fast-paced environment preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment & food/beverage experience is highly preferred
