Compensation Data
The starting wage for this role is $22.62 per hour. This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
$1 increase @90 days then another $1 increase after 9 months
What You'll Do
3rd Shift 10 pm to 6:30 am
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a hazard-free work area.
- Follow oral and or written work instructions.
- Ensure cleanliness of the workstation when beginning work
- Verify and feed raw materials into the production process.
- Ensure products produced meet quality and food safety standards.
- Check yields and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate production records.
- Monitor machinery for malfunctions.
- Notify supervisor of unusual problems, delays, and/or safety issues
- Report food safety problems
- Clean workstation and equipment at shift-end
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures, General Manufacturing Principles safety rules, sanitation rules, good housekeeping procedures, and company rules of conduct!
- Participate in all company training for food safety and plant safety!
- Perform other duties as assigned!
What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
- Must be able to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with full range of body motion.
- Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in uncomfortable environments including hot, cold, wet and/or humid conditions. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals will occur. Possible exposure to nut allergens.
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
