About the role:
The Quality Tech is responsible for supporting all Quality Compliance systems. This role must perform fact-based audits and assessments against records, procedures, processes, packaging, and equipment for compliance to internal, Federal, State, and other regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Backup to the Quality Leads.
- Assists in all quality systems and audits
- Assists with sanitation pre-op inspections
- Perform daily plant GMP/Gemba walks
- Perform weekly Quality PM/Calibrations
- Assist on off shift Traceability Exercises
- Perform Production records spot checks during shift
- Assists in record, procedure, process, and equipment reviews for compliance to all Federal, State, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assists in quality awareness, GMPs, and product knowledge to improve consistency and fficiency in our operation.
- Audits quality systems for compliance and effectiveness and makes recommendations for correction or improvement.
- Analysis of quantity control in the facility
- Perform any other duties as assigned in a safe and timely manner
Qualifications and skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers and fellow team members
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to tolerate varying temperatures, lift 55 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
