Key Responsibilities
* Support business strategy to ensure all HSE directives, policies, and initiatives are effectively incorporated at site level
* Develop, implement, and execute HSE annual objectives & improvement plans in conjunction with site operations management and business unit HSE Manager
* Manage all environmental permits and program requirements specific to the site
* Lead implementation and management of site ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
* Conduct regular audits/inspections of the site to ensure compliance with corporate policies and HSE regulations
* Identify site HSE training needs and develop appropriate resources and training sessions for employees and management staff
Requirements
* BS/MS in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field
* Business performance management experience
* HSE regulations knowledge, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001
* 2-3 years HSE experience in a manufacturing setting, with food industry desired
