About the Position: As a Shipping Clerk one is responsible to;
- Complete order entry
- Prepare bills of lading and all related documents accurately
- Prepare export documents for state inspectors (USDA and WSDA computer systems)
- Double check work so to ensure all is accurate (ALL work, especially on export loads prior to truck departure)
- Filing of document
- Assist in creating pallet tags
- Assist with paperwork on hauls when needed
- Handle inventory inquiries
- Take internal and external phone calls in professional manner
- E-mail correspondence both internally and externally (in professional manner)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Great people skills including personable, polite, professional and courteous
- Self-motivated/self-starter with ability to work independently and as team
- Ability to work in a very fast pace environment while maintaining accuracy
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage time
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.25 - $20.00 per hour
