What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pad Print Operator position at Kerusso Activewear, Inc.?
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Locate the correct plate for the assigned job
- Check print against the tag for brand, content, COO.
- Print a test shirt for approval prior to production.
- Load shirts on to the press correctly to insure proper design placement
- Correct any issues that arise during the print run.
- Verify the 1st quality count versus the job quantity.
- Remove plate from the pad printer and move on to the next size.
- Clean ink cup and rings when appropriate and at the end of the shift.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interaction with the material handlers.
- Thorough pad print knowledge (operation/ function of the machine)
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
