JOB PURPOSE
We are currently seeking an AEGIS Combat Systems Engineer III to support the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the Aegis Weapon System, ensuring system readiness and performance during testing and evaluation events. Responsibilities include assisting in system integration, executing test procedures, monitoring system performance, and supporting Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Test and Evaluation (T&E) events. This role requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain system reliability and operational effectiveness in dynamic environments.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Supporting Aegis Weapon System interface validation, shore site installation, and system integration
- Assisting in-port and at-sea assessments for Combat System Ship Qualification Trials (CSSQT) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Test and Evaluation (T&E) events
- Conducting system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for Aegis components such as C&D, SPY, WCS, ADS, and legacy adjuncts
- Executing and analyzing system integration tests to ensure tactical and operational interoperability
- Providing technical support for BMD system engineering efforts within a lab environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely test result delivery, system troubleshooting, and performance improvements
- Ensuring compliance with safety, security, and operational standards
- Working flexible hours, including occasional off-hours and weekends, as required

Pay Range : $85,000 - $105,000 per year
