Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to collect, process, and analyze data to drive informed business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to generate insights, build reports, and visualize key metrics that support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Processing:
- Gather and clean data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Develop and maintain databases, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Data Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Reporting & Visualization:
- Create dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or Looker.
- Present insights in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Performance Measurement:
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business success.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work with business teams to understand their data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers to improve data accessibility and reliability.
- Automation & Process Improvement:
- Automate repetitive data tasks using SQL, Python, or R.
- Identify opportunities to improve data quality and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Excel.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistical methods and data modeling.
Preferred:
- Experience working with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Google BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline management.
- Understanding of A/B testing and experimentation techniques.
- Certification in data analytics tools or methodologies.
