Position Overview:
Keshequa Central School is currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Language Arts Teacher for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English Language Arts, fostering a positive environment and contributing to the overall academic success of our students.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging and rigorous English Language Arts lessons in alignment with the school's curriculum.
Foster a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking skills among students.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and create an inclusive learning environment.
Implement various assessment strategies to measure student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance instructional practices.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree
New York State certification in English Language Arts 7-12, English Extension 5-8, or Elementary Education 1-6 with Extension 7-9.
Strong knowledge of English Language Arts content and a passion for teaching.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
Experience:
Previous teaching experience at the middle/high school level is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with diverse teaching methodologies and technology integration.
