POSITION: Facility Manager
LOCATION: Keshet Building / 799 Central Ave, Highland Park
SUPERVISOR: Chief Executive Officer
JOB STATUS: FT / Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the CEO, the Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day facility needs for the Keshet community. In addition, the Facility Manager is responsible for construction and maintenance projects in conjunction with the project manager.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Facility Manager will initially develop deep knowledge of Keshet programs and operations, and will focus on facility management.
- Responsible for the facilities that serve Keshet’s programs, including:
- 799 Central Keshet Facility including coordination with current property manager and other tenants
- Coordinating Keshet’s facility needs with landlord teams at facilities where Keshet leases space (ICJA and Solomon Schechter)
- Residential facilities owned and managed by third parties
- Strong in project management, security-systems, and facility maintenance.
- Management, compliance, and record keeping for statutory facility requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring a clean and safe environment as well as creating a physical setting that is appropriate and adequate for supporting our participants, staff, and guests.
- Support the programs in maximizing efficacy and efficiency.
- Strategize to improve the safety and quality of the program environment while maintaining cost-efficiency.
- Be knowledgeable and utilize general best practices for the efficient administration of Keshet programs.
- Identify and evaluate the risks associated with program activities and take appropriate action to mitigate the risks working with CEO, CPO, HR, Quality Assurance and any other relevant supervisory staff.
- Develop evaluation and learning tools and processes consistent with Keshet’s strategic framework and core values.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budget projections for annual maintenance and improvement projects.
- Meet weekly with CEO.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required
- Master's Degree preferred in related field
- Proven experience of project management
- Expertise of facility management
- Leadership and analytical skills
- Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management.
- Possess passion, humility, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and ability to self-direct.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
- Knowledge and experience with information technology.
- A criminal and motor vehicle record which meets company standards.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
