Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate is responsible for complex engagements and will be able to manage multiple engagements simultaneously. This position assumes responsibility for supervising engagements and special assignments; can review working papers and financial statements and can communicate with clients on a one-on-one basis.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for managing multiple engagements and special assignments using established policies and procedures.
-Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage budgets, cash flow reports, and financial forecasts.
- Perform cash flow analysis and budgeting activities
- Support regulatory reporting requirements and compliance with SOX
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation for audit purposes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience in public accounting or corporate finance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks. Sage 100 experience a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
