In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service by shopping for and fulfilling customer orders, as well as handling transactions as a cashier. You will also assist with customer pick-ups and provide knowledge about store promotions and programs. Ideal candidates will be friendly, efficient, and have a passion for helping customers.
Requirements
- Cashiering: Accurately ring up customer orders and tender transactions, including cash, check, charge accounts, vouchers, credit cards, WIC, and EBT.
- Fast & Friendly Service: Engage customers with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring a welcoming experience.
- Pick-Up: Deliver customer orders to their vehicles with a smile and friendly service.
- Shopping: Use the Fresh Op App to accurately shop for customer orders, ensuring quality and correct items are selected.
- Storage Hold: Ensure fresh or frozen products are properly stored in the appropriate areas for later pickup or delivery.
- Company Programs: Understand and correctly apply company programs, such as fuel perks, vouchers, coupons, and special offers like Triple Coupon Sunday.
- Item Locating: Serve as an expert in store product locations, efficiently fulfilling orders via the Fresh Op App.
- Lifting: Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs., including heavy grocery items.
- Bagging: Follow Kessler’s Bagging Standards to ensure items are packed neatly and safely for customers.
- Outgoing: Be engaging and friendly with customers, providing an exceptional face of the Customer Care department and offering assistance as needed.
- Flexible Hours: Be available to work shifts between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm, including weekends and holidays, based on the store’s needs.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Comfortable using mobile apps and store systems for order fulfillment.
- Knowledge of grocery store products, including fresh produce, dairy, and pantry items.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for helping customers and providing excellent service

- Occasionally bend, kneel, squat, and reach over shoulder
