- Team Management:
- Assist the Liquor Store Manager in supervising staff.
- Train new employees and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Delegate tasks and monitor team performance.
- · Inventory Management:
- Monitor stock levels, order products, and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and work with suppliers.
- Manage product placement to maximize sales.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional service to customers, answer product inquiries, and offer recommendations.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized department to enhance customer experience.
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all liquor sales comply with state and local laws, including checking IDs for age verification.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of liquor regulations.
- Ensure the department adheres to health and safety standards.
- Sales & Marketing:
- Assist with pricing, promotions, and setting sales goals.
- Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities.
- Financial Management:

Requirements
- 21 years old or older to be considered for position.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, liquor sales, or a similar managerial position is often preferred.
- Knowledge: A strong understanding of alcohol laws, beverage products, and customer service best practices.
- Certification: Wine Specialist (CSW) and/or Spirits Specialist (CSS) preferred otherwise willing to acquire certification on the job within discussed timeframe during interview.
