Description
At Kessler's we are looking to hire a Produce Assistant Manager. Our Produce Department Assistant Manager will have the great, and challenging, role of assisting to leading our Produce Department team members and overseeing the department, in the absence of the department manager. We encourage our managers to Take Ownership and have a “treat it like you own it” mentality when making balanced decisions between driving sales and managing costs to achieve long-term sustainable growth.

What we are looking for:
- A minimum of one year management experience required, and 2 years of restaurant, retail, or guest service experience and/or combined experience and education preferred.
- Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have reliable transportation & a valid driver’s license
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Physical demands:
The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 or 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours, along with working in colder environments on occasion. These physical demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
