As a Information Systems Specialist, you will carry out our mission to improve the experience of aging together by ensuring proper computer and network operations so that business and end users function effectively and can accomplish business tasks.
What will I do as a Information Systems Specialist?
- Primary responsibility is user support and customer service. Being present and available to clients requiring technical assistance.
- Receive and respond to incoming helpdesk tickets and requests.
- Coordinate the deployment of new or loaner computer equipment.
- Accurately log all Service Desk tickets using defined tracking software.
- Follow established Keswick policies and services.
- Perform onsite and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of IT problems for end users; recommend and implement corrective solutions, including repairs as needed.
- Install, configure, evaluate, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, laptops, desktops, printers, and other components and equipment.
- Research and procure computer hardware and peripherals in collaboration with the VP of Information Services.
- Monitor the release of latest updates/patches for standard IS software packages and applies them in a test environment for review prior to roll-out.
- Perform daily rounding on units to ensure systems and devices are running efficiently.
- Consult with third-party support and PC equipment vendors.
- Coordinate the deployment of new or loaner computer equipment.
- Work with third-party vendors to execute moves, adds, and changes for the telephone system.
- Daily rounding report.
- Prepare weekly status reports indicating technical support issues needed attention, as well as updating progress on any project assignments.
What is required in this position?
- Requires coursework in information systems or related discipline, Associate degree preferred.
- Certifications or experience may be substituted for education.
- CompTIA A desired.
- Requires one year of experience with computer hardware and software troubleshooting, and one year's experience in a healthcare facility.
- Requires experience with MS Office products and Microsoft infrastructure to include Active Directory, Group Policy and M365 administration tools (Admin Portal, Intune).
