Bus Driver for 16 passenger buses – STEADY HOURS YEAR ROUND! Hiring immediately. Drivers have the responsibility for transporting adults with developmental disabilities safely to and from work and medical appointments. This is a fun and uplifting work environment and a family like atmosphere. Full-time spit-shift M-F 6:30-11:30 a.m. 2:30-5:30 p.m. Immediately hiring! EOE
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Valid CDL with a passenger endorsement (or ability to obtain CDL quickly)
- DOT physical & drug/alcohol testing will be required if hired (paid by our company)
- Previous driver experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills and conflict resolution skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or ¼ of own body weight, whichever is less
- Knowledge regarding the needs of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities is beneficial - but not required
- Beneficial experience- 16 passenger buses, Bus driver, Paratransit bus driving, Transporting adults with developmental disabilities, DOT bus driving, transporting to medical appointments, direct care, direct support, DSP, I/DD. Immediately hiring.
