Essential Functions

- Lead the firm’s recruiting and onboarding efforts, including training and managing internal staff assisting with the processes.
- Manage the recruiting process, including advertising and promoting job openings, managing the applicant tracking system, conducting in-office interviews/events, attending job fairs and on-campus events, and submitting offer letters.
- Source candidates through diverse channels, including online job boards, LinkedIn, social media platforms, job fairs, and other recruitment avenues.
- Manage the firm’s candidate pipeline for both experienced hires and on-campus candidates, including routine follow-up in person, via email, phone, and text.
- Cultivate close relationships with key campus personnel, such as career center staff, professors, and student organization leaders (e.g., Beta Alpha Psi).
- Perform annual evaluations of campus relationships to ensure optimal utilization of effort.
- Manage the firm’s internship program, coordinating internships from start to finish, conducting stay and exit interviews with interns, planning engagement activities, and facilitating evaluations.
- Work with departmental leadership to identify ideal experienced candidates in the marketplace.
- Analyze and recommend appropriate employment tools to promote successful hires.
- Conduct the initial screening and facilitate the screening and interview process within the firm and appropriate departments.
- Ensure the completion of all background checks, reference checks, and required paperwork.
- Provide necessary information to the Human Resources Manager for developing competitive employment proposals and offer letters.
- Assist in developing marketing materials for the firm’s recruiting programs.
- Recommend and monitor the firm’s annual recruiting budget.
- Work with the HR Manager to develop a strategic recruiting plan.
- Manage the firm’s HRIS software, including onboarding new employees.
- Coordinate a smooth transition to new employee orientation and conduct human resources new hire orientation.
- Foster strong relationships with staff by maintaining open communication, building trust, and providing support to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Support human resource generalist functions, including auditing and entering employee data, communicating benefits and compensation information, and soliciting employee feedback.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Promote and support employee wellness initiatives by implementing programs and resources that enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with other human resources department staff to promote a positive work environment and employee engagement initiatives.
- Participate in professional associations, attend association meetings, and stay informed of changes in the HR profession as they relate to public accounting firms.
- Oversee firm involvement in various activities promoting the firm among professionals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Partner-in-Charge or other members of the Partner group.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Demands
The employee will sit at a desk and stand at events for a prolonged period of time. They spend a significant amount of time working on a computer. They may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position: 40 hours per week, core hours of operation are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday- Friday, some weekend and evening hours may be required. This is an onsite position.
Travel
The employee will be required to travel for business purposes. Travel maybe in town, out of town, and/or overnight. This includes several nights of overnight travel during the month of September during peak college recruitment.
Requirements:Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years of experience in recruiting, sales, or related field preferred.
- Experience with modern recruiting methods preferred.
- Possess strong relationship building, organizational, and time management skills.
- Exhibits a professional and approachable demeanor and appearance.
- Consistently pays attention to details and provides timely follow-up.
- Acts as a team-player, is flexible, and exhibits a high level of patience.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
- Relates and communicates with all levels of personnel and can establish and maintain good working relationships with co-workers.
