Job Summary
The Collections Specialist will be responsible for collecting outstanding debts owed to the company and ensuring timely payment receipt. This role involves communicating with delinquent customers, negotiating settlements, and resolving disputes.
Responsibilities
- Lead all collection activities for assigned regions to ensure all past due accounts are collected while preventing the aging of current balances.
- Continuously follow-up with accounts on past due balances, maintains detailed collection notes.
- Negotiate, deliver, and follow through to completion on customer settlement offers and proposals.
- Process and make arrangements for payments, to keep or bring account current, which includes following up to ensure obligation is satisfied.
