Summary:
The ECommerce Associate Category Analyst Is An Intermediate Business Management Position Whose Primary Purpose Is The Performance Of Tasks Necessary For Ongoing Site Operations, Reporting And Analytics, And Channel Coordination. The Associate Supports Many Aspects Of The Assigned ECommerce Business(es) Including, But Not Limited To
- Product set-up, reporting, preparation and analysis
- Creative development and deployment across ecommerce marketplace
- Developing analytics tools and responsibility for reporting
- Monitoring ongoing performance and key KPIs
- For relevant accounts, work closely with the paid team to ensure performance goals are met
- Internal operations coordination that support ecommerce product offerings
- Own the creation and maintenance of Ecommerce items via specific Ecommerce merchandising tools (Salsify, Syndigo, and Customer Portals) that will enable the team and business units to make quick strategic decisions for assortment planning.
- Monitoring sales of Ecommerce items across all customers and assist the Sales Team with developing and maintaining multiple sales reports, SEO insights and Direct-To-Consumer analytics.
- Responsible for ensuring that all product inventory feeds are up to date for the current assortment.
- Work closely with the Sales, Product and Marketing teams on the coordinated launch of new products.
- Identify pain points and opportunities within the ecommerce marketplace and help establish solutions to address those opportunities.
- Support executing the business goals and monitor ongoing performance per key KPIs
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing
- 2-4 years of business experience in a marketing or category management team
- 2-4 years of experience in the ecommerce space
- Demonstrate an ability to positively influence and develop consensus with teams not in a direct report alignment.
- Must exhibit customer focus, good time management skills, a professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Proactive in solving problems, listening, and negotiating.
- Ability to learn technology tools and processes quickly
