The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all aspects of industrial maintenance from preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, installation and set ups, electrical and motors. The Maintenance Technician will be a well rounding individual with mechanical, electrical and programmable skills and have experience with the use of various types of lift trucks.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all aspects of industrial maintenance from preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs, installation and set ups, electrical and motors. Essential Functions
- Performs preventive maintenance and repairs
- Troubleshoots automated production equipment as well as other equipment
- Troubleshoots and repairs 3-phase motors up to 480v
- Utilizes testing equipment including multi-meters
- Troubleshoot Variable Speed Drives (VFD’s)
- MIG welding occasionally
- Familiar with 480vAC,120vAC, 24vDC and 4-20mA systems
- AC/DC troubleshooting
- Control wiring
- Will be responsible for general facilities up-keep
- Repair and programming of CNC machines
- Standing and walking on production floors which are concrete and/or sit in chair within office environment
- Ability to read, hear, speak and use a computer to reason and problem solve
- Ability to distinguish colors
- Normal hearing and range of vision
- Requires standing, walking, bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling thoughout the work shift
- May not have allergies to plastic/poly and/or cardboard
- Ability to work in hot/cool work environment
- Ability to work in a noisy work environment
- Floors may become slippery from ‘fluff’ that is a bi-product of the production process
- A minimum of 2-3 years of well-rounded maintenance and electrical experience
- At least 1 year of fabrication experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle flexible work environment while meeting deadlines
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- LP Forklift Experience
- Basic understanding of pneumatics
- Requires medium to advanced math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and understanding percentages and fractions.
- Must be able to read a ruler and/or tape measure
- Self-Motivated and experience working in a manufacturing facility or similar environment
- Great attention to detail
- Sense of urgency to complete details
- Ability to strictly adhere to all safety standards
- Ability to work independently as well as with others
