Kett's core service offerings include contract recruiting and staffing, proving ground management, test program development, field and fleet test development, data acquisition and reporting, mapping programs and test trip staffing, and logistics and support.
We are currently looking for a Automotive Technician to join our team and work with our customer, supporting a fleet of test vehicles in Torrance, CA.
Minimum years of relevant experience needed to perform the job 3-5 years job related experience. Automotive background & technical experience.
Responsibilities :
- Perform detailed and thorough inspections and repair of all test vehicles.
- Perform SW and HW updates including reporting systems
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of test vehicles as defined
- Provide full vehicle support to assist in root cause analysis
- Assist in maintaining workshop tools, tires, and service part inventory
- Provide technical support for visiting test groups
- Install, remove and maintain data logging equipment for information gathering from vehicles
- Inspection of assigned vehicles
- Sampling and collection of fluids with full documentation
- Maintain and update engineering tools such as iDEX, Diagra, ODIS, and CP Tool
- Prepare vehicles for rotation for external drivers
