POSITION: LICENSED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (2 Positions)
Effective 2025-2026 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING CITY SCHOOLS
GENERAL INFORMATION: The therapist will provide occupational therapy services to Pre-K and/or school-age students identified with special needs. This position will be paid on a teacher salary schedule.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
- Evaluate children identified with special needs.
- Establishes short/long-term measurable goals.
- Develop therapeutic interventions/methods.
- Establishes and changes Individualized Educational Plan goals through team and parental conferences.
- Provides appropriate therapeutic services to include monitoring, consultation, or direct services.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Valid Ohio Occupational Therapist license/certificate.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
