POSITION: INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
Effective 2025-26 School Year
LOCATION: KETTERING FAIRMONT HIGH SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist teaching license.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
- Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.
- Knowledgeable about co-teaching and universal education.
- Participates in school-wide professional development programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.
- Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on-going data/progress monitoring.
- Works well in collaboration with other teachers, counselors, & community professionals.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
- Valid Ohio teaching license.
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Educational technology skills.
- Preference given to those with experience in English Language Arts.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
