POSITION: MIDDLE SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
Effective 2024-25 School Year
LOCATION: VAN BUREN MIDDLE SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION: This is a 10-1/2 month contract, 220 days.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
- Directs and supervises all building personnel.
- Serves as building instructional leader.
- Assists with major student discipline issues.
- Supervises building operations.
- Develops building policies.
- Reviews all grading procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
- Valid Ohio principal’s license and must pass criminal background checks.
- Child centered and possess outstanding character.
- Collaboration and problem solving skills.
- Data driven decision maker.
- Skilled at community and staff engagement.
- Universal educator – familiar with RTI, PBIS and OTES.
SALARY: According to the approved Teacher Salary Schedule.
