POSITION: PRESCHOOL INTERVENTION SPECIALIST
Effective 2025-26 School Year
LOCATION: GREENMONT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
GENERAL INFORMATION: Seeking applicants with Ohio Early Childhood Intervention Specialist teaching license who have the ability to teach the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards using developmentally appropriate practices.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES, Partial List:
- Develops measurable educational goals and objectives based on assessment data and progress monitoring documentation.
- Knowledgeable about co-teaching, universal education and co-treating strategies.
- Participates in school-wide professional development programs and activities.
- Communicates with parents and guardians of assigned students daily/weekly.
- Maintains records regarding student progress that is aligned with common core state standards.
- Provides a variety of instructional experiences for all students based on individual needs and on-going data/progress monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS, Partial List:
- Valid Ohio teaching license (Pre-Kindergarten Special Needs/Early Childhood of the Handicapped)
- Must pass criminal background checks and pre-employment drug screening.
- Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Training and understanding of Early Learning Content Standards, assessments, and child development.
- Educational technology skills.
SALARY: According to the approved teacher salary schedule.
