Responsibilities & Requirements
As a member of the Public Relations & Marketing team, the Multimedia Specialist will be an equal parts creative contributor, graphic designer and photographer. This individual will be well-versed in the entire video production process from planning through completion. They will also facilitate video streaming for live events, and pre-recorded programming. They will have a thorough understanding of supporting processes including audio, graphics and animations, and photography. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- Degree in Mulitmedia/Graphic Design and/or Production role (Bachelor’s Preferred).
Minimum Work Experience
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience
Required Skills
- Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite and other non-linear video and audio editing systems such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve or other similar digital editing
- Skilled using video streaming tools and streaming options for social
- Technical expertise using a variety of camera/lenses, production switches, servers & mixers, studio and field lights, wired and wireless microphone systems, and audio recording and mixing
- The ability to multi-task jobs in a deadline-driven
Functional Demands
- Conceptualize, design, and produce multimedia materials such as graphics, animations, videos, broadcast commercials, and interactive experiences for various platforms including websites, broadcast, social media, in-person and streamed meetings, and other digital channels.
- Operate and control cameras, lenses, and other video equipment in both studio and field
- Create compelling and engaging stories through video editing, including sequencing, pacing, and timing, to evoke the desired emotions and convey the intended
- Empowered to suggest worthwhile multimedia projects that might further the reach of our branded content on multiple
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, following the creative vision and requirements of each project, while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to camera equipment, lenses, cables, and other video gear, to ensure smooth operation and prevent disruptions during
- Set up and configure live streaming equipment, software, and platforms for virtual and hybrid meetings and events, ensuring reliable and high-quality
- Monitor live streams during meetings to ensure smooth operation, troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise, and take corrective actions to minimize
- Manage video and audio settings, including camera angles, microphones, and other audiovisual equipment, to ensure optimal video and audio quality for live
- Stay up to date with the latest multimedia best practices in design trends and technologies and recommend innovative approaches to simplify and enhance our strategies to deliver engaging user
- Provide tools and training that empower less experienced team members to better contribute on multimedia
Additional Requirements
- Must have own transportation and be willing to frequently haul equipment to production locations.
- Be available for event coverage outside of regular business
