Responsibilities & Requirements :
Position Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to honesty, integrity and trust as a member of the Kettering College PA department and representative of Kettering College.
- Utilize professional interpersonal communication skills while collaborating among experienced faculty and staff members.
- Exemplify professionalism among a diverse student body and healthcare system.
- Deliver evidence-based instructional content within a modular-based curriculum, according to the programs needs (anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, clinical medicine, history & physical exam and evidence based therapeutics).
- Create well written learning objectives, assignments and exams to fairly assess student knowledge
- Participate as a instructor and facilitator of student assessment and remediations, throughout the clinical and didactic phases
- Serve as an advisor to PA students within the didactic and clinical phase of instruction.
- Productively engage in ongoing program assessment and accreditation activities.
- Attend faculty development activities including PAEA workshops and conferences
- Seek and participate in program relevant research activities
- Serve on committees within in Kettering College and Kettering Health Network as assigned by Program Director.
- Attend Kettering College and PA program institutional activities
- Other responsibilities as determined by department chair / director
