- Accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric Emergency Department in 2020.
- Services include cardiac testing, emergency, intensive care, lab, imaging, surgery and a medical office building for physician practices.
- 28 bed facility.
Responsibilities & Requirements
The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) maintains operational responsibility for one or more nursing units on a twenty-four hour a day basis. Responsible for planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to patients in all settings where nursing care is provided in collaboration with other health care providers. The CNM is accountable for the provision of safe patient care, compliance with department strategic objectives, participation in performance and practice improvement activities. The delivery of evidence based nursing care at Kettering Health Network reflects the philosophies, missions, vision and values of the organization and nursing department
Requirements:
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Bachelor’s degree in another field if willing to begin a program leading to a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Nursing within 12 months of hire and completed within 3 years
- BLS
- National certification by the end of 2nd year in position
- Minimum of two years of progressive clinical experience with demonstrated leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
Masters in Nursing preferred, a Masters may be mandatory if required by a regulatory agency
Position will be responsible for all of peri-op services at Kettering Health Troy, including surgery, recovery, materials, and central sterile.
