Responsibilities & Requirements
The Access Coordinator (AC) will be responsible for the coordination of patient admissions and transfers fromregional physician offices and facilities, from the initial call through successful arrival at KHN facility. The ACprovides the highest quality of customer service to physicians, nurses, patients, and other medicalprofessionals. The AC serves as a liaison between the regional physicians and hospitals into KHN. The AC willwork closely with admissions/bed control at appropriate KHN facility as well as facilitating the actual logisticalprocesses which allow for timely and appropriate movement of patient into proper KHN facility.
Preferred Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTSMinimum EducationGraduation from accredited program of nursing, BSN preferred. If outside of network applicant, BSN will berequired to be completed within five years of hire.Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Registered NurseRegistered Nurse with current state licensure.Minimum Work ExperienceMinimum of two years clinical experience in an acute care setting with critical care experience preferred.
