Manager of Bottler Activation- Concentrate Sales
The Manager of Bottler Activation will be responsible for the coordination of and partnership with Bottler Activation Managers across various route-to-market systems (e.g., Coca-Cola Affiliated Sales Organization) and dedicated to driving volume, revenue, profit and share results within the US Beverage Concentrate sales organization. Objectives include serving in an advisory role to the Coke and Pepsi affiliated sales leadership teams and collaborating cross functionally with Brand Marketing and Commercial sales for the purpose of joint business planning and activation of those plans with our bottler partners.
This role is located in Plano, Texas, with approximately 5-10% travel.
Key Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Consumer Engagement, and Sales to develop bottler and distributor plans.
- Act as Center of Excellence for activation within cola systems; Lead consistent definition of successful execution and bottler activation across systems including KPI definition and monitoring.
- Work with Insights and Analytics and Brand teams to translate Consumer-Centric Strategy into activation plans specific to respective route-to-market systems.
- Deliver world class execution with an aligned commercial planning approach by cultivating and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to include the National Accounts organization, Integrated Business Planning, Strategy & Innovation and DPS leadership teams.
- Collaborate with multifunctional teams such as Shopper Marketing, Revenue & Margin Management, Category Management, Marketing, Sales, Innovation and other commercial functions toward the execution and implementation of account plans and programs.
- Provide support as needed to local Bottler Activation Managers on customized or bottler-specific activation.
- Drive consistent look of success across all major KDP brand initiatives – e.g., Dr Pepper College Football.
Communication
- Develop business relationships with concentrates sales leadership team and key decision makers for the purpose of growing the business.
- Stand up process and structure for providing visibility and alignment across systems and trademarks of all planned national initiatives (e.g., Trademark / Brand roundtables).
- Improve communication commercially working with cross-functional teams to eliminate redundancies.
- Create mechanism for sharing best practices in activation while maintaining integrity of individual systems
- Identify process, tools, and/or technologies to improve efficiencies and align resources to deploy those solutions as quickly as possible.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Minimum 5 years of CPG sales, field marketing or other commercial experience
