Job Overview :
Developer plays a critical role within SIP Data Platform Engineering team, focusing on the administration, maintenance, and development of cloud-based Data Platform tools and technologies. This role is responsible for administration and security (Engineering work) for KDP Analytics and Data Science solutions for various business groups across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing tools, particularly Snowflake, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate will serve as a technical point of contact, collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires an ability to quickly learn emerging technologies and contribute to the development, security, and optimization of the data platform.
This position is based at our HQ in Frisco, TX and will have a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home on a weekly basis)
Key Responsibilities
Data Platform Administration & Development :
- Administration and security setup of cloud-based data warehousing tools like Snowflake.
- Develop, implement, and document best practices for the data platform.
- Perform development and troubleshooting tasks as required for data solutions.
