Maintenance Technician Lead

The Maintenance Lead is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, utilities equipment, bulk delivery equipment, blending/mixing systems.

Shift: Night 6PM - 6AM

Position Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop other mechanics on shift. Organize daily activities and direct resources on the production floor.
• Lead TPM activities for maintenance department.
• Conduct shift handoff for incoming shift daily.
• Backfill Supervisor coverage gaps for vacations, etc.
• Engage vendors and support resources where necessary.
• Collaborate with team members and external resources to drive reliability improvements across production lines.
• Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
• Wire moderately complex control circuits.
• Check, wire, and troubleshoot high voltage poly-phase and multi-speed motors. Install all types of conduit runs, rigid, stainless steel, and plastics.
• Calibrate and repair control elements in process loops.
• Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to compressors, evaporators, condensers, driers, valves, lines and freon levels.
• Troubleshoot and repair 480V 3 phase electrical systems.
• Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Pay starting at $41.31 per hour. The employee will move to a higher rate of $43.50 per hour in the quarter after their 6-month anniversary.
• Shift Premium $2.00 per hour

• 5 years of previous experience working as maintenance technician within a high-speed manufacturing environment
• Lift, push, and pull 50 pounds repeatedly, walking and standing for long period of time
• Previous experience in a leapreferredd role in a manufacturing facility preferred
• Troubleshoot down to PLC level
