What we are looking for :

Keurig Dr Pepper is seeking a Principal Product Owner who is a key Agile team member primarily responsible for maximizing the product value delivered by the team in alignment with the strategic direction and business / customer needs. This individual will provide mentorship and guidance to other Product Owners and be instrumental in shaping product strategy. The Principal Product Owner is a vital player in KDP’s new way of working, supporting and driving a lean-agile mindset and learning culture.

What you will do :

  • Deeply understand the marketing technology business and product strategy and help make and / or influence critical decisions that impact the product.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to develop an audience-focused digital experience roadmap that guides the evolution of the digital user journey and deepens integration between channels.
  • Ensure the product development team has a solid understanding of the product strategy to help them more effectively execute and meet objectives and goals.
  • Make certain the voice of customer needs and priorities are incorporated into the product solution.
  • Manage and prioritize the content / features team backlog with clearly defined value hypothesis and acceptance criteria to be delivered by the development teams. Continually search for opportunities to improve efficiencies and optimize product work.
  • Apply a broader understanding of the market trends, customer needs, and business objectives to set the strategic direction for the product and actively manage or contribute to its roadmap.
  • Lead, manage, and prioritize the content / features team backlog with clearly defined value hypothesis and acceptance criteria to be delivered by the development teams.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master, Product Manager, and Solution / Domain Architect.
  • Facilitate the relationship with the end customer and business leadership / owners.

Who you are :

  • Basic knowledge of product management principles and practices for defining product strategy, vision, roadmaps, and value, including how to drive continuous improvement for the product.
  • Deep knowledge in product backlog management.
  • Working knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., waterfall, spiral, SAFe, agile, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps).
  • A demonstrated technical and people leader, including employee coaching, objective setting, and professional development.
  • Demonstrated skills in user-centered design (UCD) methodologies, user journey and personas, and executing them in product designs.
  • Proven ability to research user needs, develop clear user stories, and collaborate with the agile team, clarifying user needs and product features while guiding the team to write good stories and apply customer-centricity when making decisions.
  • Proven ability to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
  • Business specific experiences :

  • Demonstrated experience managing and deploying solutions across the marketing technology landscape supporting content management, personalization, digital asset management, content experience, campaign management and consumer analytics.
  • Consumer Packaged Goods or Retail Industry experience.

  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Typically, 5 years of product management or related experience.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies with experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Understands concepts of data architecture, data engineering, and data warehousing capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on actionable insights and innovation.
  • Preferred experience with work management tools (Jira) as well as dashboard and analytics tool capabilities (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Background in at least three disciplines, such as business, technology, application development, or operations in a multi-tier environment.
  • Native-level proficiency / fluent in English.
  • Experience in product or service design, delivery, and / or enhancements (preferred).
