Overview:
As an Account Manager at Kevco Building Services, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining and growing our company’s relationships with its valued clients. This position is based in Gaithersburg, MD, and services the entire DC Metro and Baltimore areas. You will be at the forefront of customer interaction, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of service while actively expanding Kevco’s reach through strategic sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.
· Manage contract renewals, address any changes in client requirements and ensuring service continuity.
· Grow your book of business by identifying new opportunities and effectively upselling and cross selling Kevco’s comprehensive range of services.
· Actively participate in local networking events to enhance Kevco’s industry presence and generate new business leads.
· Collaborate with leadership to strategically plan and implement growth opportunities, aligning with Kevco’s long-term business goals.
· Maintain a deep understanding of all company services to provide accurate and effective solutions tailored to client needs.
· Ability to estimate our core service lines of business and produce high quality proposal packages for new and existing customers.
- LS360 Report Follow-up: Ensure prompt and effective follow-up on LS360 reports by booking calls or Zoom meetings with clients to discuss findings, answer questions, and identify service needs. Leverage these discussions to generate quotable opportunities, driving revenue growth through proactive client engagement and tailored solutions.
· Ongoing communication between Account Manager and the Operations Team
· Ensure effective tracking and management of customer engagements through systematic use of the company’s CRM.
· Exceed or meet set targets for client visits, renewals and new business opportunities, contributing to the company’s revenue and market position.
· Position our use of the Lifecycle360 tool with our customers to discuss findings, answer questions and uncover new service needs.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in a related field.
· Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
· Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Customer-focused with the ability to build long-term relationships.
· Eager to learn and stay updated with industry trends and developments.
Compensation and Benefits:
· Salary range: $60,00- $70,000 base Commission
