Summary
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an Associate to join the dynamic team responsible for lean release administration and compliance.
This position is responsible for the timely processing and reviewing of releases for customer accounts. The position requires the ability to coordinate and work closely with clients and Accounts Receivable (AR) personnel. This position is 100% onsite. Not remote.
Essential Job Functions: Includes, but is not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions may be required as deemed necessary by management personnel.
- Issue invoices and monthly statements to customers in accordance to contract schedules
- Expedite certain specialized forms such as AIA document, lien waivers, and sworn statements within the construction industry
- Review/process/notarize release documents
- Post payments
- Review/process credit applications
- Complete and return credit references for customers
- Weekly filing and organizing releases by customer
- Weekly filing of credit applications
- Verifying payment is received and information AR of missing payments
- Mailing/Scanning releases
- Manage inbound communication of AR Department email account
Desired Qualifications:
- 2 years of billing/accounting experience in a construction environment
- AA in accounting is desired

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to develop & maintain positive relations with internal management & external customers
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and extreme attention to detail
- Strong computer and data entry skills and experience with Microsoft Office
- Customer Service Attitude
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Occasional lifting up to ten lbs.
- Ability to work in a climate-controlled office environment
- Vision adequate (including corrected vision) to perform essential job functions
- Hearing (including corrected hearing) adequate to understand verbal information and maintain conversations for an hour or more over a telephone in order to perform essential job functions.
- Ability to read and write in English in order to process paperwork and communicate with clients and internal customers
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
