Kewadin Casinos seeks a talented Gift Shop Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Gift Shop. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales growth.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our casino's retail team as a Gift Shop Manager. You will work closely with our General Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Gift Shop, including supervisory and administrative tasks. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers, exceeding their expectations at every touchpoint.
You will develop and manage the budget for the Gift Shop, evaluate and purchase merchandise, maintain inventory levels, and prepare monthly reports. Additionally, you will meet with vendors and product representatives, work with our Marketing Department on promotional needs, and change displays regularly to maximize sales opportunities.
Your success in this role will depend on your ability to motivate and direct a team of sales personnel, plan schedules, interview and select candidates, and monitor pricing for all products. You must also maintain accurate records, make administrative and personnel reports as necessary, and ensure compliance with casino policies and procedures.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience in retail or a related field. An Associate's Degree in Retail Management or Business-related field is preferred. You must also undergo a Criminal background investigation under the rules of the National Indian Gaming Commission.
