Janitorial/Custodial

Summary: Part-Time Janitorial/Custodian worker: This individual will be responsible for cleaning the pharmacy, restrooms and break areas. Job duties also include vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows, using a carpet spotting machine and running an auto scrubber on a daily basis

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Removes trash and sort recyclables

• Assist with grounds care

• Assist with snow removal

• Dust, sweep, and mop hard floors

• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpeted floors

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms

• Dust and clean furniture

• Empty and clean waste receptacles

• Clean and spot clean windows

Non-Essential Functions of the Job:

Preferred Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency

Physical Demands:

• Ability to regularly lift 30 pounds.

• Ability to push and pull floor cleaning equipment over concrete, tile and carpeted floors.

• Must possess sufficient physical strength, ability and stamina to perform a variety of janitorial tasks related to care of floors.

• Ability to work with a variety of cleaning products.

• Ability to work night shift and/or very early morning hours as dictated by the needs of the position.

• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
