The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper use and side effects.
- Will work closely with the patients and healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve health outcomes.
- Manage all clinical pharmacy programs including but not limited to:
- Medication Synchronization
- Vaccinations
- Therapeutic Optimization
- Nutrient Depletion
- Administration of Long-Acting Psychotics
- Compounding
- Adherence Packaging
- Medication Therapy Management
- Abide by all State, Federal laws and Third Party guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures
- Help supervise and support pharmacy technicians and other pharmacy team members.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care skills
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy protocols and regulations
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- State pharmacist licensure in Kansas
