Description

Key Cars Auto Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced BDC Manager to lead our Business Development Center team of Sales and Service Customer Service Advocates (BDC Representatives). As the BDC Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our sales and service departments by managing the BDC and driving departmental metrics to meet and exceed goals.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership :
  • Supervise Sales BDC Representatives and Service BDC Representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success.
  • Performance Management :
  • Monitor and ensure the achievement of departmental metrics, including customer contacts, appointments set, appointments kept, and sales closed.
  • Lead Management :
  • Oversee third-party lead and website providers to optimize lead generation and conversion.
  • Sales and Service Support :
  • Assist in the sales and service process, contributing to the generation of vehicle sales and service bookings.
  • Training and Development :
  • Contribute to the training and development of BDC Consultants, ensuring they are proficient in customer communication via phone and email.
  • Schedule and Payroll Management :
  • Manage employee schedules and oversee weekly payroll and monthly commission for the BDC team.
  • Recruitment and Performance Evaluation :
  • Lead the hiring process for BDC personnel, conduct regular performance evaluations, and implement disciplinary measures as needed.
  • CRM Utilization :
  • Utilize CRM and lead management tools effectively to track leads, customer interactions, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or bachelor's degree in Entrepreneur Management or Marketing preferred.
  • 2-5 years' experience in internet sales and customer service (management-level preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of previous dealership management experience is required.
  • Prior work experience in a BDC department is considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in CRM and lead management tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
