Position Overview :
Middletown Chevrolet is seeking a reliable and professional Independent Contractor Dealer Trade Driver to facilitate vehicle swaps between our dealership and other dealerships in the region. This role involves transporting new and used vehicles to and from designated locations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of vehicles while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate vehicle swaps with our dealership staff and other dealerships.
- Pick up and deliver vehicles between dealerships, ensuring all necessary paperwork is accurately completed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to document existing damage and ensure vehicle condition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with dealership personnel.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage and vehicle information.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentable upon delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dealership staff regarding any issues or delays.
