Cashiers are responsible for accurate and rapid processing of customer purchases while maintaining quality customer service.

Cashiers are responsible for accurate and rapid processing of customer purchases while maintaining quality customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts or change due to customers.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change. Balance register at the end of shift.
- Providing excellent customer service is a must.
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
- Sort, count, and wrap currency and coins.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to speak English effectively
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Long periods standing
- Performes repetitive motions
- Lift a minimum of 20 lbs
- Exposed to chemicals while cleaning
- Able to use a cash register
