This position requires daily upkeep within the store and surrounding areas as well as support to the store departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- General custodial and store maintenance
- Sweeping and mopping floors
- Returning shopping carts to the front of the store various time throughout the day
- Constantly keep garbage cans empty
- Assist the other departments in general cleaning and sanitizing as well as transporting merchandise to and from the departments.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Ability to speak English effectively
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Use of floor cleaning machine, cardboard compacting machine, blower, etc.
- Performs frequent motions such as standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Able to work in varying temperatures
- Exposure to chemicals while cleaning and sanitizing
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Works in a fast-paced environment
