This position requires knowledge and experience in project management, process improvement philosophies, and quality control system development and management. In this role, you will be a critical player in ensuring product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction across the full lifecycle of our products.
Responsibilities/daily tasks:
- Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
- Effectively interacts with production and development teams to maintain product supply and help introduce new products.
- Responsible for keeping certification of ISO-9001 and ASME.
- Works with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Defines quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff.
- Sets up and maintains controls and documentation procedures.
- Liaison with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specifications. (Administrator of CAPA program)
- Establishes standards of service for customers.
- Organizes and manages quality assurance functions in close cooperation with customers and the Key Gas Components Management Team (Member of Management Team).
- Identifies relevant quality-related training needs and delivers training.
- Collates and analyzes performance data and charts against defined parameters.
- Ensures tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out, and evaluated, and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
- Supervises technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
- Compiles technical and management systems reports.
- Sets Quality Assurance compliance objectives and ensures targets are achieved.
- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules, security procedures, and instructions.
- Performs all duties according to established safety policy, including wearing all required PPE to perform duties.
- Willing to work flexible hours as necessary.
- Candidate must have a BS in Engineering or Equivalent Experience.
- 5 years of work-related experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Above average computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Excellent attendance record.
