This position requires in-depth knowledge of automotive service processes and exceptional leadership skills to effectively manage a team of service technicians and advisors. The Service Manager will oversee all aspects of the service department, including customer satisfaction, workflow management, training, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the service department, ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services.
- Drive customer satisfaction by implementing and maintaining best-in-class service standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and train service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including service revenue, efficiency, and customer retention.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee engagement.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase service department profitability and efficiency.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Manage warranty and service contract processes effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar leadership role in an automotive dealership.
- Strong knowledge of Hyundai vehicles and manufacturer service guidelines (preferred but not required).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive department performance through goal setting and accountability.
- Strong understanding of automotive service software and industry best practices.
- ASE certification or relevant automotive service certifications (preferred).
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering top-tier service.
- Proficient in using service department software and computer systems
- Valid driver's license
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
