Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in facilities maintenance, electrical systems, and customer service, painting, HVAC installations, landscaping etc. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain a high standard of service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain manufacturing operation in the best possible condition.
Duties/Requirements/Skills
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or as an industrial maintenance technician
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Utilize logic controllers for troubleshooting and maintaining automated systems.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
- Significant understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
- Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
- Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong problem-solving skills, common sense, and logical thinking abilities.
- Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Working knowledge of tools, devices and industrial equipment.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
