Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of fabricated metal using rigorous inspection processes. This role is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality control. The Mechanical Inspector will work closely with Metal Fabrication teams to ensure compliance with schematics, blueprints, and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of fabricated metal.
- Be able to inspect welds on a variety of customized products
- Review and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and compliance with design specifications.
- Perform quality control checks to 1 one thousandth of an inch using calipers, CMM and other precise measuring tools.
- Collect data related to inspection results, identifying trends or areas for improvement.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and Iso 90001 and company policies.
Skills
- Proficient in quality inspection techniques, particularly in metal fabrication.
- Strong understanding of schematics and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with quality control processes and standards within the construction industry.
- Experience working on construction sites, with knowledge of contract requirements and compliance.
- Excellent data collection skills for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
